Campus & Prison Dining Design Justice Proposal

In my intro to New Media & Digital Design course, I created a design proposal for university & private prison kitchen reform. The problem is that US universities and private catering companies (like Aramark and Trinity) are profiteering off of the privatization of prisons by allowing for a capitalistic mindset (where there is no consumer choice), incentivized incarceration, and overpricing college meal plans (from these catering companies). In this proposal, I outlined the problem(s), design framework (design justice), research methods, use-cases, and early prototypes.
